From when and for how long is the 9-euro ticket valid?
The 9-euro ticket is a one-time and time-limited special offer for local public transport (ÖPNV) in Germany and is only available for the months of June, July and August 2022. So let's start on June 1st!
The 9 euro ticket is valid for the month in which it was purchased. For example, if you buy the ticket for June on June 20, 2022, it is valid until June 30, 2022. You need an additional 9 euro ticket for July and August.

Where and how can you buy the 9 euro ticket?
You don't yet have a subscription with a transport company and would like the 9-euro ticket? Then you are exactly right here! With this app you get the 9-euro ticket directly and easily on your smartphone.
Alternatively, you can also buy the 9-euro ticket directly from your transport company - on site in the customer centers, occasionally at ticket machines or in the apps of the transport company.
Note: Do you already have a subscription with a transport company? This also includes student tickets, semester tickets and social tickets. Then you don't need this app. You will automatically receive the 9 euro ticket. Your transport company or authority will inform you about the billing process.

Where is the 9 euro ticket valid?
You can use the 9-euro ticket nationwide for one month - in June, July or August 2022 - for bus and train journeys in local public transport, i.e. in all subways, trams and buses. Regionally, the 9-euro ticket is valid in all S-Bahn, regional trains (RB) and regional express trains (RE) in 2nd class. This does not include offers in long-distance transport by DB (IC, EC, ICE) or private providers such as Thalys, FlixTrain or FlixBus.
