• How do I install alhosn app?
  Where can I download the app? You can download the ALHOSN UAE app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store for free. Register and authenticate by entering your Emirates ID and phone number followed by the OTP sent to your phone. It is mandatory to turn on Bluetooth and push notifications on your smartphone.
• Why alhosn app is not opening?
  If the app is not working on iPhone & Android devices then try to reinstall the app on your device. After installation, open the app. Now the app will ask you for some permissions like accessing your Bluetooth and notifications. Allow all the permissions required for the app to run it smoothly.
• Who developed alhosn app?
  From the information publicly available, ALHOSN was jointly launched by the Ministry of Health and Prevention, Abu Dhabi Health Authority and Dubai Health Authority to serve as the official digital tracing app for COVID 19. The new app combines the features of the two previous apps, StayHome and TraceCovid.
• What happened to Al Hosn app?
  The Ministry of Health and Prevention had launched the service last year. Even as the local authorities fix the issues in the Alhosn app, another official service 'Alhosn for All' can be used to retrieve Covid-19 test results. With the app being down, the 'green pass' has been temporarily suspended in Abu Dhabi.

  You need to first download the Al Hosn app from either Google Play or App Store or via a link provided by the ICA on the SMS confirmation. Note that tourists will require a Unified Identity Number (UID) to complete their registration and activate their green pass reflected on the Al Hosn app.
