AVOCS Speed Alert

AVOCS Speed Alert is a configurable GPS speed monitor with digital speedometer, available in more than 100 countries. Meets land, sea, air and rail needs.

Attention! It is not available for Brazil.

It functions as an autopilot, where you mark the speed you want to travel reducing the risk of traffic accidents and avoiding fines.

** It is necessary to give location access permission (GPS) for speed monitoring to work.

*** Additional permissions for calls and camera flash access are required for future use of the emergency buttons that will be implemented.

Google Traffic updated automatically every 5 minutes, this way you can view the traffic situation in the vicinity.

Stop pay fines for distraction.

It allows to select the limit to be monitored with a simple touch, and when it exceeds the limit \"beeps\" are issued until the driver of the vehicle travels below the established speed limit.

With a simple touch it is possible to change the preset speed limit in 30, 50, 65, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110 and 120 Mph or Kmh to 40, 50, 60, 70 , 80, 90, 100, 110 and 120.

Easy to use and intuitive, no additional settings are required. Selecting the unit of measure the app automatically saves the as your preference. The language is automatically selected for English or Portuguese according to the smartphone's configuration.

There will probably be a discrepancy between the speed measured by the GPS (which is accurate) and the speedometer of the vehicle (which is not accurate), but the radars work within a certain tolerance.

The alert volume can be adjusted on the smartphone itself, by controlling media audio.

The app must be active on the screen during its use and if there is any call ora other activity in the device it will be paused automatically and must be reactivated later. Is need to stay in the foreground so that the speed limit can be changed quickly with a touch.

The intention is to reduce the incidence of fines and traffic accidents, alerting the driver during the course, as any distraction can make us to increase the speed of the vehicle, especially when at low speeds, eg 30 Mph.

Attention! Android 6 (Marshmallow) can make apps stop working after giving / denying permission to location (GPS) or other requested function. This is due to application overlap and is considered a problem in Android 6. If this occurs, try disabling the overlay of the installed applications and run again until the permission is accepted. Once given the permission, you can revert the overlay to the apps. This can occur with any app at Marshmallow.
