Bright Sky HU

Bright Sky is a free downloadable and usable app that offers help and information to anyone living in a potentially abusive relationship and those who are worried about someone.

Warning

* Bright Sky HU is an informational and non-security application.
* If at any time you feel in imminent danger, call 112 immediately.
* Don’t download the app if you’re afraid someone else might be able to access your device or the information stored in the cloud.
* Only download Bright Sky HU on devices that you feel are safe to use and that only you can access.
* Before you start using the app’s ‘Log’ feature, make sure you have a secure email address that no one else can access. If necessary, you can create a new address or use someone else you trust.
* Please note that calls made through the app will appear in your phone’s call list as well as in your biller’s account.
* Complete questionnaires only in a secure, private location, preferably alone so that no one can influence the outcome.
* Remember to always use hidden mode. If you closed the app earlier, make sure the app is in stealth mode again, as this is not the default setting. Press the cloud icon to turn on hidden mode.

List of support organizations operating in Hungary, specializing in relationship violence. You can also call the nearest help organization from the application, you can search for it by the name of the settlement, or you can also use your current location.

Contacts for help organizations and helplines that provide assistance to victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse throughout Hungary.

A feature called ‘My Diary’, in which evidence of abuse can be preserved in the form of text, audio, video or photo entries without saving any content on your mobile device or app.

"Am I in danger?" Within the app The purpose of the questionnaire is to indicate to users if there are signs of abuse in the relationship, or "Is your family member or friend at risk?" partly in a relationship with a friend or family member. However, this alone cannot filter out the level of danger in a relationship. If you are unsure, we advise you to contact a support organization or find out how you can help your friend, for which the app will also help you.
