This app is intended to serve as a resource for consulting students and curious interested in Latin American literature in general, offering a summary of the most important authors of that stellar period in Castilian letters compendium.

The emphasis has been put to a lot of authors, which provides a brief overview, with links to additional web resources for those who want more information.

The selection also includes some authors, though belonging to an earlier period (Ricardo Güiraldes, Horacio Quiroga, Felisberto Hernández, Miguel Angel Asturias ...) have been considered traditionally held by the "boom" as precursors or inspiration.
