As a person insured with HanseMerkur health insurance (recognizable by the large A in the insurance number), you can use the HanseMerkur billing app to submit all your service receipts (doctor’s bills, prescriptions, referrals, etc.) on the go and receive the HanseMerkur reply letters digitally in the mailbox of the received app. You can also change address and bank details, request callbacks or certificates or report name changes. All encrypted and safe!

***Technical requirements***

The invoice app can be used on the smartphone. At least Android 5.0 should be installed on your end device in order to be able to use the current version.

***Login/Registration***

After the first registration, you can submit medical bills, treatment and cost plans, prescriptions, etc. and arrange callbacks with us. After the basic registration, we will automatically send you a start PIN with which you can activate the other functions. This is done by transferring a cent amount to the account, which is also used for benefit payments. If we do not have a bank account, you will receive the start PIN by letter.

***Security and Privacy***

All receipts are encrypted and transmitted to HanseMerkur via the app. All documents are encrypted in the app and are only decrypted when you want to view them.
