Henna or also called Mehndi Henna is a kind of girlfriend mixed with leaves of plants called Henna or Lawsonia Inermis. The word henna comes from the Arabic language al-hana'a (الحناء). It is difficult to predict where henna comes from because this art is estimated to have grown almost 5,000 years.

Some historians say that this art originated from the Moguls who later brought it to India. However, some say that from India henna originated and others say mehndi henna originated from the Middle East or North Africa.
