Es Nuevo thriller protagonizado por Emma Suárez e Isabel Naveira que narra la cuenta atrás de Mónica y Carmela, dos investigadoras de la Guardia Civil, para evitar una serie de asesinatos durante la celebración del carnaval gallego.

Néboa es una isla (ficticia) de 62 kilómetros cuadrados situada a 11 kilómetros de la costa de A Coruña. Sus 6.673 vecinos viven principalmente del mar y el turismo y la celebración del entroido es su principal atractivo. A la isla solo se puede llegar en un ferry que hace la travesía dos veces al día, lo que condiciona y marca el carácter de sus vecinos, encerrados en sí mismos.

La serie se rodó en localizaciones espectaculares de la costa norte de Galicia. Destacan enclaves como Cabo Ortegal, O Barqueiro, Ortigueira, Cariño o Estaca de Bares, el punto más septentrional de la Península Ibérica y que marca la separación entre el océano Atlántico y el mar Cantábrico. También juegan un papel destacado otras localizaciones de interior como la fraga de Cecebre, el sanatorio de Oza o San Sadurniño, donde se localizan las casas de los personajes protagonistas.

Otro de los retos para la producción de la serie fue la recreación de la isla ficticia de Néboa. Para ello, y con el objetivo de ofrecer mayor realismo, el equipo de la serie ha filmado con dron gran cantidad de planos aéreos de la costa gallega para recrear la isla de forma digital utilizando la orografía de la zona.


Mónica (Emma Suárez): Teniente de la UCO especializada en homicidios y secuestros que se desplaza a Néboa para atrapar al Urco. No le gustan las obligaciones políticas y protocolarias y su punto fuerte es la gestión de equipos. Su fórmula para atrapar a criminales es cotejar testimonios, analizar pruebas y aprovechar sus mentiras y contradicciones, cercando así al delincuente.

Carmela (Isabel Naveira): Sargento en el cuartel de Néboa, formará junto a Mónica un equipo profesional capacitado para atrapar al Urco. Su padre era teniente durante la ola de crímenes de 1989. Su método de trabajo es analizar, formular hipótesis y hacer comprobaciones hasta obtener un resultado.

Teniente Ferro (Nancho Novo): Especialista en el trabajo policial de proximidad. Entiende cómo funciona la población de la isla, sabe las relaciones que hay que cultivar y a quién acudir en cada situación. Es inteligente y eficaz, lo más importante para él es el resultado y con tal de alcanzarlo hace las cosas un poco a su manera.

Antón (Antonio Durán “Morris”): Patrón de uno de los barcos de los Ulloa. Siempre se ha sentido acomplejado frente a cualquiera que haya estudiado y, sobre todo, frente a los Ulloa. Es humilde y prudente, pero cuando estalla lo hace con violencia y es difícil pararlo.

Vega (Alba Galocha): Hija de Mónica, con la que tiene una relación particular. Es Vega la que cuida de Mónica, o eso es lo que quiere creer. Es independiente, resuelta y con una tendencia natural a cuidar y proteger a los demás. Su padre apenas tiene ningún papel en su vida.

Ana (Denisse Peña): Hija mayor de Antón y Rosa. Su pandilla de amigos son Gael, Turco y Comba, con los que pasa gran parte del día. Es sociable, capaz de encajar en cualquier parte y se le da bien la gente. Nada le da miedo y siempre tiene una actitud positiva, pero nadie puede imaginar lo que esconde tras su inocente apariencia.

Rosa (María Vázquez): Persona pragmática que dice lo que piensa y defiende sus intereses y los de sus compañeras de la conservera. Carmela es su amiga de la infancia y vecina, con quien comparte más confidencias, ya que con Antón la comunicación nunca ha sido fácil.

Gonzalo (Xabier Deive): Nunca dice más palabras de las necesarias. Se adapta a cualquier entorno con soltura y eficacia. Le gustan las personas y sabe leerlas en cuanto las mira. Es calmado, reservado respecto a sí mismo y curioso respecto a otras personas, pero nunca entrometido. Es un hombre benévolo y comprensivo y a la vez firme.

It is New thriller starring Emma Suárez and Isabel Naveira that tells the countdown of Monica and Carmela, two Civil Guard investigators, to avoid a series of murders during the celebration of the Galician carnival.

Néboa is an island (fictional) of 62 square kilometers located 11 kilometers off the coast of A Coruña. Its 6,673 neighbors live mainly from the sea and tourism and the celebration of the entroido is its main attraction. The island can only be reached by a ferry that does the crossing twice a day, which conditions and marks the character of its neighbors, locked in themselves.

The series was filmed in spectacular locations on the north coast of Galicia. Highlights include places such as Cabo Ortegal, O Barqueiro, Ortigueira, Cariño or Estaca de Bares, the northernmost point of the Iberian Peninsula and which marks the separation between the Atlantic Ocean and the Cantabrian Sea. Other interior locations such as the Frace de Cecebre, the Sanatorium of Oza or San Sadurniño, where the houses of the main characters are located, also play a prominent role.

Another challenge for the production of the series was the recreation of the fictional island of Néboa. To do this, and with the aim of offering greater realism, the series team has filmed a large number of aerial planes of the Galician coast with drone to recreate the island digitally using the orography of the area.


Monica (Emma Suárez): UCO Lieutenant specializing in homicides and kidnappings that travels to Néboa to catch the Urco. He does not like political and protocol obligations and his strong point is team management. His formula for catching criminals is to collate testimonies, analyze evidence and take advantage of their lies and contradictions, thus encircling the offender.

Carmela (Isabel Naveira): Sergeant at the Néboa headquarters, together with Monica, a professional team trained to catch Urco. His father was a lieutenant during the crime wave of 1989. His method of work is to analyze, formulate hypotheses and make checks until a result is obtained.

Lieutenant Ferro (Nancho Novo): Specialist in proximity police work. Understand how the population of the island works, know the relationships to cultivate and who to turn to in each situation. He is intelligent and effective, the most important thing for him is the result and in order to achieve it he does things a little in his own way.

Anton (Antonio Durán “Morris”): Skipper of one of the Ulloa ships. He has always felt self-conscious in front of anyone who has studied and, above all, in front of the Ulloa. It is humble and prudent, but when it explodes it is violent and it is difficult to stop it.

Vega (Alba Galocha): Monica's daughter, with whom she has a particular relationship. It is Vega who takes care of Monica, or that is what she wants to believe. It is independent, determined and with a natural tendency to care for and protect others. His father barely has any role in his life.

Ana (Denisse Peña): Oldest daughter of Antón and Rosa. His gang of friends are Gael, Turco and Comba, with whom he spends much of the day. He is sociable, able to fit anywhere and he is good at people. Nothing scares him and he always has a positive attitude, but no one can imagine what he hides behind his innocent appearance.

Rosa (María Vázquez): A pragmatic person who says what she thinks and defends her interests and those of her canning companions. Carmela is her childhood friend and neighbor, with whom she shares more confidences, since with Anton communication has never been easy.

Gonzalo (Xabier Deive): He never says more words than necessary. It adapts to any environment with ease and efficiency. He likes people and knows how to read them as soon as he looks at them. He is calm, reserved about himself and curious about other people, but never intrusive. He is a benevolent and understanding man and at the same time firm.
