Medicines are divided into two types, the first is medicines that are only administered with a prescription and instructions from the doctor, and most medicines are subject to them, and they are monitored by the medical authorities in Egypt.


The second type of medicine is called the OTC, which is an acronym for a group of medicines that are prescribed without a prescription, and the patient does not need to be examined by the doctor, and it includes mild cases, such as menstrual pain, diarrhea, constipation, and bloating.
