Rádio Clube do Pará appeared five years after the opening of the first Brazilian radio, Rádio Sociedade do Rio de Janeiro, founded in 1923. The date of Rádio Clube's inaugural broadcast was April 22, 1928. The event was commemorated with a cocktail party in grand style, as it was considered an unprecedented event for the time. Leading this great undertaking were pioneers Roberto Camelier, Eriberto Pio and Edgar Proença.

Journalism is on the streets daily, reporting different facts and the problems of the city. The population has openness and full participation. There are also entertainment programs, with promotions for listeners. In addition to sports, among the programs that lead the audience is the Clube da Manhã, presented by Nonato Cavalcante. In all, the station currently has 62 employees, some with more than 40 years in the house.
