On August 14, 2005, in the fulfillment of its mission, the National Network of Youth Associations of Guinea-Bissau (RENAJ) created Rádio Jovem.

Rádio Jovem is an instrument of youth mobilization for strengthening citizenship, consolidating peace, democracy, national reconciliation, supporting the development of the youth associative movement and promoting the economic, social and cultural development of Guinea-Bissau in a sustainable manner. .

Rádio Jovem, whose provisional headquarters are located in Bairro Cuntum-4, broadcasts on a frequency of 102.8Mhz and also on the internet, through www.radiojovem.info.

Rádio Jovem is a social communication institution, constituted as RENAJ's heritage, enjoying administrative and financial autonomy, and its mission is to promote the civic participation of youth in favor of the political, economic, social and cultural development of the country, through Information , training and education.

Radio is an important means of communication for society, it is companion, informative, cultural. It brings together people and communities that have many things in common and one of them is the power to hear and understand a sound message.

Credibility is the word that Rádio Jovem seeks to carry, it goes through so many generations, but its credibility is not discussed.

Rádio Jovem is the Channel and Voice with legitimacy to speak on behalf of and actions of the youth of Guinea-Bissau.
