Serlo ABC is a free and ad-free literacy app that is specifically aimed at illiterate with no previous knowledge of the German language.

The reduced user interface and intuitive user interface Serlo ABC is a low threshold accessible and suitable for people with little education experience.

Visualized instructions and explanations make the use of the app regardless of the native language of the learner.

Serlo ABC was developed for use in the self-study, but can also be used in integration courses as a free teaching resource. Just volunteer literacy teachers without professional background can the app offer a sound pedagogical framework for teaching.

The contents of the app are free licensed and can easily be adapted for the classroom.
