Smart Road Maintenance is a free Android application based on Artificial Intelligence algorithms that allows you to view traffic signs, potholes, manholes, road damages, etc. that were recognized from the recorded video. You can attach your smartphone camera to your car or bike and press record on the Smart Road Maintenance app. After you're done recording, view your map with all traffic signs that were recognized with Artificial Intelligence algorithms in the app. The app can recognize traffic signs (in the EU), potholes, manholes, public lighting and road damages.
This app is mainly intended for cities and traffic clerks that are on the field every day and need to track the state of their city's roads. But, if you are wondering how many traffic signs you pass by every day to work or how many traffic signs there are in your street, feel free to use it and inform yourself and your friends!
IMPORTANT: To use this app most effectively and for your safety while driving, we recommend using an in-car holder to place your smartphone so that you can record the roads from your car.
