VOA, foreign service official communications of the United States government, broadcast for the first time in 1942 after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.

Vietnamese Service for the first time appeared on the day 06/15/1943, but suspended operations in 1946 before going on air again in 1951 and continuously developed to this day.

VOA dissemination of information in more than 40 languages, targeting the country still lacks an independent information system.

Based on the founding charter VOA, broadcasts radio and television, the article should be based on principles such as accurate, impartial and fully represent all the components of American society and the presents a holistic perspective, balancing the ideas and institutions of the United States and a clear presentation of American policy.

Currently, Vietnamese Service VOA broadcasts two radio on the Internet every day: 4: 30-5: 00 and 22: 00-23: 00 (now Vietnam). In addition, the Board also released a Vietnamese language newspaper pages online at voatiengviet.com and television programs on the Internet at the home page, channels YouTube.com/VOATiengVietVideo, and Facebook.com/VOATiengViet page.
