Mona Al-Marshoud sheds light on the ill-treatment of the military and the torture inflicted on the prisoners. The writer revealed the value of friendship between Saif, who was visiting Walid in prison and trying to comfort him.
The events of the novel ranged between pain and hope, between sadness and joy, as it makes the reader feel the feelings of its characters. It's a really interesting novel with a simple, expressive style.
