It is a qualification for creating a construction plan and performing comprehensive management from safety management.

1. Recognized as a "dedicated technician" assigned to the sales office

When running a plumbing business, a construction permit is required from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism or the prefectural governor, except for minor construction work. Business establishments that have received a construction permit must always have a "dedicated engineer" assigned to each business office. This "full-time engineer" is limited to those who hold a national qualification or who have a certain number of years of work experience. A construction management engineer corresponds to one of these "national qualifications".

2. Can become a "control engineer / chief engineer"
If you acquire a construction management engineer, you can become a "control engineer" or "chief engineer" for the relevant construction depending on the grade. If the specified contractor of the prime contractor makes a subcontract contract for a total of 40 million yen or more (60 million yen or more for a complete building), the "control engineer" must be installed at the place where the construction will be carried out.
And the "chief engineer" must be assigned to all works, regardless of whether it is a prime contractor or a subcontractor, except for works that require a supervising engineer.

3. It will be added to the score of the company in the business evaluation

For the first-class pipe construction management engineer, 5 points will be added to each qualified person in the technical evaluation of the business evaluation. (If you have a qualification as a supervising engineer and take a course, one more point will be added)

If you are an assistant technician for first-class pipe construction work, 4 points will be added for each qualified person.
