ولد القارئ الشيخ سيد متولي بقرية الفدادنة مركز فاقوس بمحافظة الشرقية يوم 26 أبريل عام 1947م.،وتوفي يوم الخميس، 16 يوليو 2015. وكان قد نشأ في أسرة يعمل عائلها بالزراعة كبقية أهل القرية. كان والده يتطلع إلى السماء داعياً رب العزة أن يرزقه ولداً بعد البنات الأربع ليكون لهم رجلاً وملاذاً بعد وفاته.

رحم الله شيخنا الفاضل/الشيخ السيد متولى رحمة واسعة واسكنه فسيح جناته.

Reader Sheikh Sayed Metwally was born in the village Alfdadnh Center Faqous Eastern province on April 26, 1947., Died on Thursday, 16 July 2015. He grew up in a family breadwinner working in agriculture like the rest of the people of the village. His father was looking forward to heaven, calling on the Lord of Glory to give him a son after the four girls to be a man and a haven for them after his death.
