Божья Матерь Жировичская

The Zhirovichi Icon of the Mother of God is an icon of the Mother of God that appeared in Zhirovichi (Slonim district, Grodno region, Belarus). Revered as miraculous in the Orthodox Church and the Catholic Church (including the Belarusian Greek Catholic Church). One of the most revered shrines in Belarus. Icon holiday on May 7 (20). On the site of the appearance of the icon stands the Holy Dormition Zhirovichi Monastery.
