The map of 61 areas for 2022 has been updated.

■ Main features

① Know your current location with the location information of your smartphone!
Since you can immediately see your position on the "Mountain and Plateau Map" map, you can easily check your current location while climbing.
It is safe as a countermeasure in the event of an emergency such as getting lost or in distress.

(2) Unlimited use of "Mountain and Plateau Maps" for 61 areas for a fixed fee (500 yen/month or 4800 yen/year)
Enrich your mountaineering life with more than 200 climbing maps that introduce about 1,500 famous mountains in Japan, including all of the "100 Famous Mountains of Japan" selected by Kyuya Fukada.

③ Free for 7 days from the first subscription
First of all, let's experience "Mountain and Plateau Map" for free.

(4) Full of information that the author actually walked and researched
It is packed with the latest mountaineering information that authors who are familiar with each mountain actually walked and surveyed, such as course times, locations of water places, highlights such as alpine plants, conditions of mountain trails, etc.
The "Mountain and Plateau Map" boasts a track record of over 50 years, so the ease of viewing the map is No. 1!
*In consideration of the ease of viewing on the smartphone app, we have also made changes such as omitting terrain expressions and latitude and longitude lines.

⑤ Can be used even outside the service area!
The map is downloaded in advance and saved on the smartphone, so it can be used even in mountains where radio waves do not reach.

⑥ You can record the climbing route!
You can record the trajectory of the location information you walked while climbing as a mountain climbing route.
Recorded routes can be viewed on the app, sent to a computer by email, saved and edited, or posted to sites such as "Yamareko" to keep memories.

⑦ You can easily make a mountain climbing plan!
You can easily create a mountain climbing plan and itinerary just by tapping points on the map.
The course time is automatically calculated according to the set time multiplier, so you can make a reasonable plan that suits you.

You can read the appendix booklet of useful information such as the characteristics of the mountain range and the course guide in e-book format.

What is the paper "mountain and plateau map"?
It is a classic mountain climbing map that boasts a long-selling product of over 50 years.
It has been favored since the era of the air rear map, with a thorough focus on "practicality" that is useful during advance planning and actual climbing.

■Regarding automatic renewal of subscriptions

・Auto Renewable Subscription is used for regular subscription tickets.

・Billing by automatic renewal will be performed from 24 hours before the end of the valid period until the end of the period.

・From the Play Store menu, select "Account Information" > "Subscription" > "Mountain and Plateau Map Hodai" > "Management" > "Cancel subscription". For detailed instructions, please refer to the "Usage Guide" in the app.

・This application checks the subscription status by accessing the Play Store online at startup.

・If you are outside the service area, such as in the mountains, and the expiration date cannot be renewed, you can use it as an update grace period for 7 days from the date you obtained the last billing information. Please note that after 8 days, you will not be able to use it even if it is within the expiration date of the subscription.

■ Notes

・It is recommended to download the index map and climbing map in a Wi-Fi environment because the data size is large.

・The function to record the route in the background consumes a lot of battery. In order to secure a contact method in case of emergency, we recommend setting to save battery. (For the setting method, refer to the usage guide in the app)

・Be sure to use the paper "Mountain and Plateau Map" in preparation for unforeseen situations such as running out of battery.

・ The timing of the survey of posted information is described in "Notice/Help" > "Credit notation" in the app. For some areas, the state before that is also included for convenience of investigation. In addition, conditions in the mountain climbing area, such as the condition of the mountain trails and the operation of facilities, may change greatly due to heavy rain, wind and snow, so please judge carefully and act at your own risk. For your safety, please be sure to check the situation at the local office before hiking.

・Since the posted information is not determined by GPS, it may differ from the actual location.
In addition, the accuracy of the location information that the smartphone can obtain may decrease due to the surrounding terrain, etc.
Please act by comprehensively judging not only the current location indicated by this application, but also the surrounding topography.

・Please note that we are not responsible for any accidents or mishaps that occur while carrying this application.

・Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life
