Surah Al-A'raf, is the seventh surah within parts (8 and 9) of the Holy Qur'an, and it is one of the Meccan surahs, and its name is taken from verse (46). The surah talks about the principle and the resurrection, proving monotheism, the Day of Resurrection, combating polytheism, reviving the human personality, explaining the story of the creation of Adam, peace be upon him, and the covenants that God Almighty took from his descendants, and the stories of previous prophets, such as: Noah, Lot and Shuaib, peace be upon them, and the story of Banu Israel, and the jihad of Moses, peace be upon him, against Pharaoh.
