쉼이있는교회에 오신 모든 분을 주님의 이름으로 사랑합니다.
새해가 밝았습니다. 우리교회는 짧은 기간에 하나님의 계획과 섭리가운데 조직교회로서의 모든 기관과 부서가 세워졌고, 다음세대를 향한 비전과 꿈을 가지고 3대가 함께하는 신앙공동체로 우뚝 서기 위해 ❶매일 성경 ❶매일 기도 ❶매일 감사라는 ❶❶❶운동을 전개하고 있습니다.
인생은 소풍처럼 행복해야 합니다. 신앙생활은 더 행복해야 합니다.
그러기 위해서 우리에게 가장 우선되어야 하고, 가장 중요한 요소는 말씀으로 돌아가는 것입니다.

2020년 총회 주제와 우리교회 표어는 “말씀으로 새로워지는 교회“입니다.
가나안 성도 200만 시대가 되었습니다. 가나안 성도란? ‘가나안교인’을 거꾸로 하면, ‘안나가교인’이 됩니다. 그러니까 기독인이지만 교회 출석을 거부하거나 미루는 이들을 말합니다. 2018년에 가나안교인 23%증가했고, 2050년도에 가면, 가나안교인이 35%로 증가할 것이라 예측하는 통계 결과도 있습니다. 여차하면, 교회를 떠날 심산인 잠재적, 심정적 가나안 성도도 있습니다.

게으름으로 인해 교회에 출석을 못하는 경우나, 익명의 기독인으로 남고 싶어 교회를 옮겨 다니는 이른바 ‘교회 쇼핑족’들도 생겨났습니다. 자발적으로 교회를 떠난 가나안교인들의 증가 추세에 있는 심각한 상황입니다. 한국 교회는 ‘위기’입니다. 더 이상 설명이 필요하지 않을 정도로, 한국 교회의 신뢰와 이미지는 추락하고 있습니다. 먼저는 교회 지도자들의 문제입니다.

교세는 날로 감소하고 있고, 반대급부로 가나안교인은 증가하고 있습니다. 교회마다 안으로는 서로간의 불신으로 분쟁과 분열이 가속화되고 있습니다. 확실히 한국 교회는 위기입니다.
영적으로 타락하여 어두워졌던 사사시대처럼, 자기 옳은 신앙생활 했던 바로 그때처럼, 교회는 변하고 있습니다. 그래서 영적인 일에는 관심이 없고, 육적인 일에 마음과 시간을 쏟는 안타까운 시대입니다.

느헤미야 시대도 그랬습니다. 당시 총독 느헤미야는 조국 유다를 다시 일으켜 세우기 위해 부귀와 영화를 다 버리고 조국으로 돌아와 황폐한 예루살렘 성벽을 재건하고 에스라를 통하여 성전을 재건하려 애를 씁니다. 하지만 동족들의 방해가 계속되었습니다. 지금의 시대가 그렇습니다.
교회는 본질을 붙잡고 기득권과 결별하여 혁신해야 소망이 있습니다. 세상으로부터 오는 수치와 조롱으로부터, 다시 수치를 당하지 말자 했던 느헤미야의 각오와 결단이 필요한 때입니다.(느 2：17)

느헤미야는 무너진 성벽을 재건하고 행정적 혁신 조치를 단행한 후, 에스라를 통하여 말씀 공동체를 회복했습니다. 한국 교회에는 느헤미야와 같은 혁신이 필요합니다. 개혁교회는 항상 개혁되어야 한다는 종교개혁자들의 외침이 현 시대 상황과 맞물려 새삼 가슴 깊이 우릴 울립니다.
먼저 믿은 그리스도인 된 우리가 새로워져야 하겠습니다. 현실이 결코 가볍지는 않습니다.
한치 앞도 예측할 수 없는 상황입니다. 교회를 새롭게 한다는 것이, 암흑천지에서 방향을 찾는 것처럼, 어디서부터 어떻게 시작해야 할지 모르는 일이겠지만, 우리교회부터 성경으로 돌아가야 합니다.
힘들고 어려운 시절, 교회를 세우고, 부흥을 위해, 하나님의 영광을 위해 마음으로, 삶으로 기도하며 헌신했던 신앙의 선배들의 정신을 회복해야 겠습니다. 때를 놓친다면 한국 교회가 어떻게 될지 누구도 장담하지 못합니다.

하지만, 절망할 필요는 없습니다. 희망이 있습니다. 교회는 주님의 핏값으로 사신 곳이기 때문입니다.
교회의 주인은 우리가 아니라 우리 주님이시기 때문입니다. 느헤미야 시대에도, 종교개혁 시대에도 교회는 위기였습니다. 하지만, 모든 어려운 상황을 뒤덮어 버린 하나님의 은혜가 있었습니다.
말씀으로 새로워지길 기대하는 마음이 있었을 때, 하나님께서 어떤 은혜를 부어 주셨는지 성경이, 그리고 역사가 증명하고 있지 않습니까? 다시한번 그 은혜가 한국교회와 우리교회위에 부어지기를 소망합니다.

하나님께서 느헤미야를 사용하셨던 것처럼, 종교개혁자들을 사용하신 것처럼, 우리 한 사람, 한 사람을 들어 교회를 새롭게 하실 줄 믿습니다. 우리가 직면하고 있는 작금의 상황은 엄중하기만 합니다. 남북 분단 고착화 70년을 보낸 한반도에 평화와 통일은 과연 가능한가? 탈종교, 전통적 신앙의 무력화를 가져오는 4차 산업 혁명 시대를 맞이할 준비는 되어 있는가?
한국 교회에 직격탄이 된, 저출산, 고령사회는 어떻게 극복해 갈 것인가? 한국 경제의 급성장이 가져온 번영 신앙, 성공 신앙, 성장 지상주의, 물량주의는 어떻게 넘어설 것인가? 그 외에도 사회의 양극화로 인한 전방위적인 갈등을 치료할 명약은 준비되어 있는가? 교회의 낮아진 사회적 신뢰도는 어떻게 반전시킬 수 있을 것인가? 소위 가나안교인이
200만에 이르는 시대에 교회를 떠나는 젊은이들의 발길은 어떻게 돌릴 수 있을까?

이렇듯 미세먼지로 앞이 보이지 않는 것처럼, 탁해진 영적 기상이 과연 언제쯤 밝아질 수 있을지 무척이나 마음이 무겁습니다. 하지만 염려하지 않는 것은 우리와 함께하고 계신 주님이 계시기 때문입니다. 위기란 말은 ‘위험이 곧 기회다’라는 뜻이라고 합니다. 기로에 선 한국 교회는 지금이야말로 하나님의 말씀으로 돌아가 회개함으로 영적각성운동을 통해 희망과 위로를
선포해야 할 때입니다. 선교 초기, 일제 강점 고난의 시기에 민족의 등불이요 희망이었던 것처럼, 깨어 일어나 하나님께로, 성경으로, 복음으로 돌아가야 합니다. 우리가 잘 아는 대로 복음은 ‘좋은 소식’을 뜻하는 헬라어 ‘유앙겔리온’에서 유래했습니다. 성경 말씀 전체는 온 인류에게 복음입니다.

그중에서도 특별히 하나님의 아들이요, 그리스도이신 예수의 탄생과 공생애, 죽음, 부활, 승천, 그리고 이와 관련된 구원의 모든 사역을 담은 내용이 모두 복음인 것입니다. 예수의 복음은 교회와 그리스도인에게 주어진 가장 존귀한 보물입니다. 또한 복음은 모든 믿는 자에게 구원을 주시는 하나님의 능력입니다.

“내가 복음을 부끄러워하지 아니하노니 이 복음은 모든 믿는 자에게 구원을 주시는 하나님의 능력이 됨이라”(롬 1:16)

The New Year was bright. Our church was established in the midst of God's plan and providence in a short period of time, and all institutions and departments as organizational churches were established, and with the vision and dream for the next generation, the three generations stand together as a faith community ❶ Daily Bible ❶ Daily Prayer ❶ Daily thanks ❶❶❶ We are developing a movement.
Life must be happy like a picnic. The life of faith must be happier.
In order to do that, it must be our first priority, and the most important factor is to return to the Word.

The theme of the 2020 General Assembly and the motto of our church are “New Church with Word”.
Canaan Saints are now 2 million years old. What is Canaan Saints? If you reverse 'Canaanite', you become 'Annakyoin'. So, they are Christians, but they are those who refuse or procrastinate. There are also statistical results predicting that the number of Canaanites increased by 23% in 2018, and that by 2050, the number of Canaanites would increase to 35%. In other words, there are potential and emotional Canaanites who are also deeply left to leave the church.

There have also been so-called “church shopping people” who move around the church because they are lazy and unable to attend church or remain anonymous Christians. This is a serious situation in which the number of Canaanites who voluntarily left the church is on the rise. The Korean church is 'crisis'. To the extent that no further explanation is needed, the trust and image of the Korean church is going down. First, it is a matter of church leaders.

The tax rate is decreasing day by day, and the number of Canaanites is increasing due to opposition benefits. In each church, conflict and division are accelerating due to mutual mistrust. Certainly the Korean church is a crisis.
The church is changing, just like the time of the Judges, when it was spiritually corrupted and darkened. So, it is a sad time when we are not interested in spiritual things, and devote our mind and time to physical things.

So was the Nehemiah period. At that time, Governor Nehemiah tried to rebuild the homeland of Judah, throw away all his wealth and movies, return to his homeland, rebuild the walls of the desolate Jerusalem, and try to rebuild the temple through Ezra. However, the interference of the people continued. Now is the time.
The church has hope to hold on to the essence and innovate by breaking away from vested interests. It is time for Nehemiah's determination and determination to avoid being humiliated again from shame and ridicule from the world. (Ne 2:17)

Nehemiah restored the Word community through Ezra after rebuilding the collapsed walls and taking administrative reform measures. Korean churches need innovation like Nehemiah. The reformers cry that the Reformed Church should be reformed all the time and weep in the heart.
First, we who have become believers must be renewed. Reality is never light.
It is an unpredictable situation. Renewing the church, like finding a direction in the dark heavens, may not know where and how to start, but we must return to the Bible from our church.
In difficult and difficult times, we need to restore the spirit of the seniors of the faith, who built up the church, prayed to the heart, and prayed for life for revival, and for the glory of God. If you miss the time, no one can guarantee what the Korean church will be like.

However, there is no need to despair. There is hope. This is because the church is the place where the Lord bought the blood.
Because the owner of the church is our Lord, not us. Even in Nehemiah and the Reformation, the church was in crisis. However, there was the grace of God that covered all difficult situations.
When there was a desire to be renewed by the Word, does the Bible and history prove what kind of grace God poured out? Once again, I hope that grace will be poured out on the Korean church and our church.

Just as God used Nehemiah and the Reformers, I believe we will raise the church by one person, one person by another. The current situation we are facing is serious. Is peace and reunification possible on the Korean Peninsula after 70 years of solidification between the two Koreas? Are you ready for the 4th Industrial Revolution that results in the neutralization of dereligion and traditional faith?
How will we overcome the low birth rate, aging society that has been a direct hit in the Korean church? How do you overcome the prosperity, success, growth optimism and materialism brought about by the rapid growth of the Korean economy? In addition, are there any medicines to cure omnidirectional conflicts caused by the polarization of society? How can the church's lowered social credibility be reversed? The so-called Canaanite
How can the youth of the Church leave the church in the age of 2 million?

As if the front is not visible with fine dust, it is very heavy when the spiritual weather will become bright. But don't worry because there is a Lord with us. The term crisis means 'risk is opportunity'. At the crossroads, the Korean church is now returning to the Word of God and repenting to bring hope and comfort through the spiritual awakening movement.
It is time to declare. In the early days of mission, during the time of Japanese occupation and suffering, we must wake up and return to God, the Bible, and the Gospel as if it were the hope and hope of the nation. As we know it, the Gospel comes from the Greek word “euangelion,” meaning “good news.” The whole Bible is the gospel to all mankind.

Among them, the Gospel is all about the birth and symbiosis, death, resurrection, ascension, and all related ministries of salvation, especially the Son of God and Christ. The gospel of Jesus is the most precious treasure given to the Church and Christians. Also, the Gospel is God's power to save all believers.

“I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God to deliver salvation to all believers” (Romans 1:16).
