O Sonho tornou-se realidade.Através de uma visão dada pelo Espírito Santo ao Pastor Edivaldino, ex traficante,marginal,desordeiro,conhecido na área do Pelourinho com essas características.Tendo sido regenerado pelo poder do evangelho e movido pela visão do Senhor em levar o amor de Jesus naquela área tão sua conhecida,procurou o diácono, hoje Pastor Aurizer Braga de Sena pedindo-lhe ajuda.Foi orientado a aguardar sete dias, enquanto buscaria do Senhor direção quanto a esse assunto. Decorrido o prazo,e com a resposta positiva do Senhor decidimos entrar ali com o evangelho da graça de Cristo.Deus abriu as portas e consequentemente um espaço e entramos ali com um grupo de irmãos de várias igrejas, para iniciar uma batalha contra as hostes espirituais da maldade reinantes naquele lugar, não ficou uma rua, um casarão, uma casa sequer, que não fosse visitada pelos voluntários ali presentes á frente daquela comunidade.



Não ficou morador sem ouvir do evangelho. Podíamos ver o livre tráfico de drogas, usuários da mesma e toda sorte de vícios e degeneração do ser humano. Iniciamos as ´´MADRUGADAS COM DEUS´´. Ficamos em vigília e preparação espiritual até,2:00h da madrugada e então saímos em equipes divididas pelas áreas circunvizinhas levando o pão material, roupas, agasalhos e sobretudo o pão espiritual e uma palavra amiga àquelas pessoas que estão dormindo ao relento. Muitas decisões e desejo de mudança de situação. Que fazer? Clamamos ao Senhor e Ele nos deu um espaço ali para cultuar e desenvolver um trabalho social e o” Sitio Boas Novas de Salvação”para que ali, num futuro bem próximo seja levantado o Centro de Reintegração Social para amparar pessoas que querem um compromisso com Cristo, mas não tem conseguido uma oportunidade na vida lá no município de Amado Bahia, localização do Sitio, já foi feito um mutirão missionário e o evangelho penetrou. Temos tido muitas decisões e os cultos dominicais são muito bem frequentados por adultos, Jovens e Crianças.



Veio a restauração do Pelourinho. Tivemos que deixar nosso primeiro local de culto e passamos a nos reunir numa pequena serraria, a céu aberto, (por cortesia do proprietário). Passamos depois a ocupar uma pequena sala cedida pelo IPAC, no antigo hotel Guaciára e novamente o processo de restauração nos fez sair e passamos a nos reunir na Praça da Sé ao ar livre,durante quatro meses, tirando dízimos e ofertas, realizando Madrugadas com Deus etc, tudo ao ar livre,até que alugamos um local, na Rua Chile. Deus nos concedeu, através da Igreja Batista Dois de Julho, pela instrumentalidade do Pr. Ezequiel Monteiro, homem de visão da obra, um espaço na Rua do Sodré(paralela à Carlos Gomes). Deus nos dará os recursos necessários para a restauração do local e esperamos um futuro bem próximo passar pra lá, afim de alcançarmos nossas novas metas de atuação, ou seja a Montanha, Largo Dois de Julho, Ladeira da Conceição e o próprio Pelourinho (agora restaurado). Podemos dizer com a segurança do servo fiel :Estamos à disposição do Senhor para o que Ele quiser e para onde nos mandar, pois, até aqui nos ajudou o Senhor.
The dream became reality. Through a vision given by the Holy Spirit to Pastor Edivaldino, a former trafficker, marginal, disorderly, known in the Pelourinho area with these characteristics. Being regenerated by the power of the gospel and moved by the Lord's vision to lead the love of Jesus in that area so familiar to him, he sought the deacon, today Pastor Aurizer Braga de Sena asking him for help. He was guided to wait seven days, while he would seek the Lord's direction on this matter. After the deadline, and with the positive response of the Lord we decided to enter there with the gospel of the grace of Christ. God opened the doors and consequently a space and we entered there with a group of brothers from several churches, to start a battle against the spiritual hosts of the evil that reigned in that place, there was not a street, a house, even a house, that was not visited by the volunteers present there in front of that community.

 

He was not a resident without hearing the gospel. We could see the free traffic of drugs, users of it and all sorts of addictions and degeneration of the human being. We started the '' MATRIX WITH GOD ''. We stayed in wakefulness and spiritual preparation until 2:00 AM and then we went out in teams divided by the surrounding areas taking the material bread, clothes, clothes and especially the spiritual bread and a friendly word to those people who are sleeping in the open. Many decisions and desire to change the situation. What to do? We cry out to the Lord and He has given us a space there to worship and develop a social work and the "Good News of Salvation" so that in the near future the Center for Social Reintegration will be raised to support people who want a commitment to Christ , but has not gotten an opportunity in life there in the municipality of Amado Bahia, location of the Site, a missionary mutirão has already been made and the gospel has penetrated. We have had many decisions and Sunday services are very well attended by adults, young people and children.

 

The restoration of Pelourinho came. We had to leave our first place of worship and we met in a small sawmill, in the open, (courtesy of the owner). We then occupied a small room provided by IPAC in the old hotel Guaciára and again the process of restoration made us leave and we met in the Praça da Sé outdoors for four months, taking tithes and offers, performing Madrugadas with God etc., all outdoors, until we rented a place, in Chile Street. God granted us, through the Baptist Church Dois de Julho, for the instrumentality of Pr. Ezequiel Monteiro, a man of vision of the work, a space in Rua do Sodré (parallel to Carlos Gomes). God will give us the necessary resources for the restoration of the place and we hope for a very near future to go there, in order to reach our new goals of action, namely Mountain, Largo Dois de Julho, Ladeira da Conceição and Pelourinho itself (now restored ). We can say with the assurance of the faithful servant: We are at the disposal of the Lord for what He wants and where to send us, therefore, the Lord has helped us so far.
