The system was formulated by Ibn al-Jazari on the Sea of ​​Rajz, and the date of its compilation was around the year 798 AH. The number of verses of the system is 107 at least, and the saying of the regulator at the end of it is supported by what is in some copies:


Its verses are qaf and zai in number. Whoever improves the intonation wins the right guidance

Because the letter zai corresponds to the number 7, and the qaaf corresponds to the number 100 in the calculation of sentences. In other versions, its verses are 119 beta.
