This app is a Japanese IME app for external keyboards.
Supports Japanese input with a keyboard with PC-like operability.
[Important] This app is for those who use an external keyboard with USB / Bluetooth connection.
You can use the soft keyboard even when the external keyboard is not connected, but it is not an application that focuses on the soft keyboard. Please note.

■■■ What is AquaMozc? ■■■
AquaMozc (this app) is based on the IME app called Mozc (https://github.com/google/mozc) released as an open source version, and is optimized for the external keyboard of Android devices. It will be an IME app.
This application has functions such as key binding support for major IMEs for personal computers, US layout / JIS layout / JIS layout kana input support, and conversion / non-conversion key to switch between Japanese and English, and requires keyboard control similar to that of a personal computer. Ideal for users.
This app works on Android 6.0 or later arm (32bit / 64bit), x86_64 (64bit) devices.
* If you are using the Blackberry keyboard, please use the sister product Aqua Mozc (unmarked).
* If you are using the Unihertz Titan keyboard, please use our sister product, AquaMozc for Titan.
■■■ Trial period and price ■■■
This application uses the subscription function. (¥ 100 / month (excluding tax))
After starting this application for the first time, 7 days will be a free trial period. The subscription feature will not be used during this period. You can continue the free trial by erasing the storage.
After that, you can continue to use it by purchasing a subscription. In addition, 30 days after the first purchase will be a trial period and there will be no charge.
If you cancel your subscription, you can use it until the next renewal date.
You can use this app on multiple devices using the account you purchased.
* There is no charge limit for soft keyboards.
* If you have any questions regarding billing, please contact the support desk by email.

Start this application and follow the instructions on the screen to set it as IME.
This application is called when you press the key in the place where you can enter text.
If no external keyboard is connected, you can use a soft keyboard.

In this mode, the characters entered from the keyboard are used as they are. Please use in the following cases.
-When using the US keyboard layout with the default keyboard layout
・ When using the JIS layout keyboard with the Japanese 109A keyboard layout
-When using a custom keyboard layout

Please use it when using a JIS layout keyboard.

Please use it when using kana input with a JIS layout keyboard.

■■ Key input style ■■
Key bindings for major PC IMEs can be selected.
In the JIS layout, the half-width and full-width keys are used, and in the US layout, ALT + `is the Japanese-English switching key.
■■ Switch between Japanese and English modes with the conversion / non-conversion key ■■
When enabled, you can switch between Japanese mode with the conversion key and English mode with the non-conversion key.
■■ Switch between Japanese and English modes with the ALT key ■■
When enabled, you can switch between Japanese mode with the right ALT key and English mode with the left ALT key.
■■ Key function ■■
The following functions are unique to AquaMozc.
・ Press and hold the alt key to show / hide the virtual keyboard
・ Ctrl + backspace reconversion
・ Katakana / Hiragana No allocation
■■ Display position of conversion candidates ■■
Set the display position of conversion candidates to either directly below the input character string or at the bottom of the screen. By default, it is directly under the input character string. (Only when an external keyboard is connected)
■■ About the conversion dictionary ■■
The Mozc used in this application includes the Mozc UT Dictionary (http://linuxplayers.g1.xrea.com/mozc-ut.html) by utuhiro.
We would like to thank everyone who compiled the OSS dictionary and provided the data.
■■ Import user dictionary ■■
You can import / export Mozc user dictionary files.
We have confirmed the operation with the user dictionary exported from Mozc and the user dictionary distributed for Mozc.
Some distributed user dictionaries are in Shift JIS format and may not be read normally.
In such a case, convert it to UTF-8 with a text editor and then import it.
We have not confirmed the export data from other IMEs, so it would be helpful if you could report the operation confirmation.
It is convenient to go through cloud storage when importing / exporting.
■■ User dictionary for AquaMozc ■■
This app does not include a dictionary of katakana words and English words.
To make up for this, we distribute user dictionaries on the following pages.
Please check the contents and import the user dictionary if necessary.

■■ Privacy Policy ■■
This application does not send the entered character string, statistical information of application usage, crash report, personal information, etc. to the outside.
From within the settings screen, you may open an external website by calling an external browser application from WebView.
Since the import / export of the dictionary uses the Storage Access Framework function, it only reads and writes the file specified by the user.
There is no permission request for communication function and read / write function to shared storage.
Due to the billing function, access to the store app will occur.
■■ Known issues ■■
Problems may occur depending on the compatibility with the application.
Some apps do not allow Japanese input from the physical keyboard.
This app cannot be used because only the manufacturer's genuine IME can be used in the DEX mode of the Samsung Galaxy series.
On Chromebooks, the IME app for Android only works in tablet mode, so there is no point in installing this app.
It can be installed on Android TV, but only supports input with an external keyboard. If you want to enter characters with the remote control, switch to Gboard.

This app does not support all external keyboards.
Mozc is used as the conversion engine. Please be aware that there are some parts where the conversion accuracy is weaker than other commercial IMEs.
If you have any problems, please contact the developer by email or Twitter instead of writing in the review section.

After installation, please check the functions of this app by yourself during the trial period.
Only apply for a subscription if you are satisfied with the functionality.
