- It is one of the Qur’anic surahs that were revealed to our Master Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, in Makkah Al-Mukarramah before his migration to Madinah. It consists of 182 verses.
Arranging them according to the thirty-seventh Holy Qur’an, and they began to swear by the multitudes of angels "Saffat", just like the rest of the Meccan surahs. It was concerned with the fundamentals of the Islamic faith, which aimed to establish the foundations of faith in the Muslim breasts and to consolidate true Islamic values.
