Dear brothers and sisters!

This application will show what passages (conceived) from the Holy Scriptures are read today in the Church in the service, according to the Orthodox calendar for the current year.
The texts are arranged in the order in which they are read during the liturgy, and are given using the introductory formulas ("At the time it is ...", "Speech is the Lord ...", etc.)

The application may be useful to you if:
- you could not attend the service;
- you want to learn to better understand the Gospel and the Apostle in Church Slavonic.

Application features:
- switching between Russian and Church Slavonic languages;
- choice of date;
- change font size;
- change the view mode (day / night);
- display numbers of poems;
- the ability to share text - for example, send it by e-mail.

The application does not require a network connection and is completely free.

The following readings (in accordance with the Orthodox church calendar for the current year of the Russian Orthodox Church): New Testament (Gospel, Apostle), Old Testament (Genesis, Proverbs of Solomon, prophetic books).
The readings are divided into divine services: Liturgy, Vespers, Matins, On the blessing of water, etc.
According to established practice, the readings of the Matins are from the evening of the previous day.
Liturgy readings are given in the fullest possible form (privates, etc.)
