"دورايمون" لديه جيب عجيب يخرج منه بعض الإختراعات من المستقبل لمساعدة "نوبيتا" في حياته اليومية، إلا أن هذه الإختراعات عادة ما تسبب له المشاكل عوض حلها. عادة ما "نوبيتا" يتعرض للعنف من طرف "العملاق" و صديقه المتكبر "سونيو".

(نوبي) وهو ولد عمره عشر سنوات يدرس في المدرسة الابتدائية ومستواه ضعيف في الدراسة والرياضة، يحب النوم والكسل ولكنه متعاطف مع الجميع له قلب حنون.
يستخدم دورايمون ادوات سرية يستحضرها من المستقبل بواسطة جيبة رباعية الابعاد،دورايمون هو الراعي والصديق المفضل لدى نوبي يكره الفئران وطعامه المفضل كعك الدورايكي اللذيذ.
