When verifying the operation of Song Bank Plus on a terminal equipped with "Android 13",
A bug has been found that some functions do not work properly under the environment of Bluetooth MIDI connection (*).

This bug has been confirmed to occur only on "Android 13", and is being addressed by Google.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but please refrain from using "Android 13" until the support is completed.

This problem does not occur when connecting with a USB cable or when connecting to a terminal with Android OS up to "Android 12".

(*) Using a wireless MIDI & AUDIO adapter (our WU-BT10).

*Those who use a MIDI player with the wireless MIDI & AUDIO adapter (WU-BT10) cannot use it unless the smart device environment is Android OS 8.0 or higher and a Bluetooth® Low Energy compatible terminal.
* Smart devices that display a non-MIDI compatible alert when installing the app cannot be connected to the instrument itself.


*1 If the app does not start normally, please try either A or B below.
A. Go to Device Settings > Apps > Songbank Plus > Storage > Clear Data to delete the app data and cache, then launch the app.
B. Uninstall Songbank Plus, turn off device settings > Google > Backup > Back up to Google Drive, and then reinstall the app.

*2 When installing this application for the first time, please check if the message "Your device does not support MIDI" is displayed. If the display appears, the device is not compatible with USB-MIDI.

*3 LK-520 built-in songs/LK-515 built-in songs/LK-512 built-in songs/LK-511 built-in songs in the app are LK-520/LK-515/LK-512/LK-511/LK-516/ Please note that it cannot be transferred to the LK-526 main unit.

*4 We have confirmed that MIDI connection-related functions do not work properly on some SHARP terminals. Please check the firmware version as it may be resolved by updating the firmware of the terminal to the latest. For details, please contact SHARP or each mobile phone company.


◆ You can increase the number of songs by connecting to a smart device
You can transfer song data downloaded and purchased from "Song Bank Plus" to the LK-520/LK-515/LK-512/LK-511/LK-516/LK-526 unit. In addition to the built-in songs, you can add your favorite songs.

*Use the included audio cable or a commercially available USB cable (A-B type or C-B type) to transfer song data from your smart device to the keyboard. If you use a USB cable, you can transfer at a higher speed, but if you use an A-B type USB cable, you will need a USB-OTG cable (USB conversion adapter). (Only LK-520/LK-515/LK-512/LK-511 include an audio cable)
*Please set the smart device to be connected so that it does not use mobile data communication, such as airplane mode.
* Do not connect the USB cable and the audio cable to the smart device at the same time.

"Song Bank Plus" has a lineup of songs in a variety of genres, including Western and Japanese hits and piano songs. The screen display has two modes.

◆ If you are a melody master, you can enjoy it like a game
If you use a commercially available USB cable, the LK-520/LK-515/LK-512/LK-511/LK-516/LK-526 main unit and the app screen can be linked, allowing you to enjoy Melody Master playing like a game.

If you use the optional wireless MIDI & AUDIO adapter (WU-BT10), you can enjoy Melody Master, which can be played like a game by linking the keyboard body (LK-520/LK-526) and the application screen wirelessly.

With a Bluetooth® connection, depending on the communication environment and the performance of your smart device, there may be noticeable delays or distortions in the sound of the lesson function of the app. In such cases, please try the following:
- Check how to use the lessons and MIDI playback quality in the app's instructions.
- Connect with cable.

● Recording function that allows you to listen to your performance

*The melody master, scoring, and recording functions can only be enjoyed on your smart device.

*When connecting a USB cable (A-B type or C-B type) to a compatible keyboard, a device that supports OTG/MIDI is required. (Some terminals cannot be used.) If you are using an A-B type USB cable, you will need a USB-OTG cable (USB conversion adapter).

When using the following functions, please use a device that supports OTG/MIDI.
・Song transfer with USB cable
・ Melody master linked with keyboard (including step-up lesson / scoring / recording function)


We recommend using the following terminals, and we do not guarantee operation on terminals not listed.
In the future, we will add terminals that have been confirmed to work as needed.

Even if the device has been confirmed to work properly, it may not display or work correctly due to device software updates, Android OS version updates, etc.

Terminals using x86 CPUs are not supported.
