경산중부교회는 대한예수교장로회(고신)에 소속된 정통교회입니다. 신구약성경 66권을 하나님의 말씀으로 믿으며 교리와 생활의 유일한 표준으로 받아들입니다. 웨스트민스터 신앙고백서와 대소요리문답을 신조로 고백합니다.

제 목회 철학은 “복음,” “하나님의 가족 공동체,”(엡 2:19) 그리고 “하나님의 나라”입니다. 복음은 우리를 그리스도와 연합으로 이끌고 또한 성도의 서로 교통함으로 자라게 합니다. 세상은 죄로 인해 하나님과의 관계, 사람과의 관계에 근본적으로 끊어져 있습니다. 가면을 벗고 자신의 진실한 민낯을 드러내고 고민을 나눌 수 있는 영적 가족 공동체가 없습니다. 자신을 위해 진정으로 기도해 줄 수 있는 공동체가 없습니다. 그런 공동체가 있다면 사람들을 끌어당길 수밖에 없는 매력있는 공동체일 것입니다. 그 곳에 하나님이 계시다고 말할 것입니다. 그리스도를 닮은 사람들이 있다고 말할 것입니다. 그 곳이 바로 교회여야 합니다. 하나님과의 막힌 담이 허물어지고, 사람과 사람과의 막힌 담이 허물어진 곳이 교회여야 합니다. 그런 교회를 꿈꿉니다.
