The plastic bag is the flagship product of our throwaway culture, squandering large amounts of materials and energy to manufacture ephemeral single-use products, often superfluous. Plastic bags can be replaced by containers or durable and ecological systems (cloth bags, durable plastic, paper, shopping carts ...). In Spain we use about 250 bags per person per year. Their production and distribution as further treatment cause significant environmental problems. Therefore we believe that his disappearance is necessary.
