Eid prayer definition

The Malikis and Shafi’is: They held that it is a confirmed Sunnah for the one on whom Friday is obligatory. Where Friday prayer is obligatory for every free adult male residing in the country where the Friday prayer is held, and according to the Shafi’is it is prescribed for the individual as it is prescribed for the congregation, and it is prescribed for the woman, the boy, the traveler, the young and the hermaphrodite, and it is not prescribed by the Malikis for the boy, the woman and the traveler. He, peace and blessings of God be upon him, continued with it, and because he said to the Bedouin who asked about prayer: “Five prayers in a day and a night. He said: Is there anything else for me? He said: No, unless you do it.” [6]
The Hanbalis: They are of the view that the ruling on the two Eid prayers is an obligation of sufficiency. If a group of Muslims did it, it fell from the rest, and the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - and his successors after him did it, but it is not an individual obligation on every Muslim, and the minimum number of her prayers is forty people.
