Sipindo (Indonesian Agricultural Information System) is an android-based agricultural application that provides easy access to agricultural information to farmers throughout Indonesia. Not only that, Sipindo also has a mission to prosper and improve the living standards of farmers in Indonesia by providing information on plant cultivation techniques, plant disease pests, and providing market access for their buying and selling needs.

Sipindo is an application of the collaboration between PT. East West Seed Indonesia (EWINDO) with AIP PRISMA. EWINDO is the first integrated vegetable seed company in Indonesia that produces superior vegetable seeds through plant breeding activities. AIP PRISMA is a program of support for the Government of Indonesia and Australia for the advancement of Indonesian agriculture.

With a commitment to continue to innovate, present the best services for Indonesian Farmers. EWINDO collaborates in the SMARTseeds Program to deliver Premium services that can be easily accessed by Farmers through the Sipindo Powered by SMARTseeds application. SMARTseeds is a Geodata for Agriculture and Water (G4AW) project funded by the Netherlands Space Office (NSO) and is one of 17 projects worldwide. This program uses the principle of PPP (Public Private Partnership) which consists of 6 Institutions namely ICCO Cooperation, EWINDO, Nelen and Schuurman, Twentee Universty (ITC), Akvo and Bogor Agricultural Institute. The aim of this program is to provide information services for 100,000 vegetable farmers in Indonesia.

1. Planting Maps: You can find out information on mapping the vegetable growing areas in Indonesia. This information is used for planting planning so that you can avoid over-supply at harvest, which can cause a decline in harvest prices.

2. Vegetable Price Information: You can find out the latest vegetable price information so that it is easier to negotiate with traders.

3. How to Grow Vegetables: You can also find out the correct vegetable growing techniques and can consult directly about plant cultivation and control of plant pests.

4. Sipindo also features fertilization recommendations for several regions in Indonesia (currently only available in East Java, Central Java and Lampung) and we will continue to expand to reach all regions in Indonesia.

5. You can find out the predicted rainfall (CH) monthly for the next 6 months and predict the beginning of the dry season (AMK) and the start of the rainy season (AMH).

6. You can also see more detailed daily weather forecast information.

7. You can also know the plant pests properly based on chemical and non-chemical treatments

8. For traders, you can find out the location of planting vegetables around you so that it is easier to find products you want to sell.
