Apocalipse de Moisés

O "Apocalipse de Moisés", também conhecido como relatório, ou revelação de Moisés é um escrito apócrifo.

O conteúdo do livro é muito parecido com o do livro "A vida de Adão e Eva". Conta a vida de Adão, Eva e Sete e narra acontecimentos antes da morte de Adão. No decorrer da narrativa, Adão, então moribundo, solicita a Eva que conte a história da queda a seus filhos e netos. Ela toma a palavra e conta sua versão da história, utilizando frases do texto canônico, mas expandindo-o e mostrando outra perspectiva. O texto parece proveniente do meio cristão, como se observa pela referência a temas desta corrente religiosa. Contudo, parece sensato considerar que se baseie em um original semita mais antigo[1].

Embora a palavra Apocalipse tenha tido seu sentido original deturpado ao longo dos séculos, em sua origem significa "revelação" e não "fim dos tempos", o Apocalipse de Moisés relata a vida de Adão e Eva até morte de Adão, quando este é levado ao paraíso por quatro arcanjos: Miguel, Gabriel, Uriel, e Raphael, em analogia ao quatro cavaleiros do apocalipse conhecidos, no entanto, neste livro apócrifo não ocorre o fim do mundo
The "Apocalypse of Moses", also known as the report, or revelation of Moses is apocryphal writing.

The content of the book is very similar to that of the book "The life of Adam and Eve". It tells the life of Adam, Eve and Seven and narrates events before Adam's death. During the narrative, Adam, then dying, asks Eva to tell the story of the fall to her children and grandchildren. She takes the floor and tells her version of the story, using phrases from the canonical text, but expanding it and showing another perspective. The text seems to come from the Christian milieu, as can be seen by the reference to themes of this religious current. However, it seems wise to consider that it is based on an older Semitic original [1].

Although the word Apocalypse has had its original meaning distorted over the centuries, in its origin it means "revelation" and not "end of time", the Apocalypse of Moses recounts the life of Adam and Eve until Adam's death, when it is taken to paradise by four archangels: Miguel, Gabriel, Uriel, and Raphael, in analogy to the four known horsemen of the apocalypse, however, in this apocryphal book the end of the world does not occur
