With this version branch of the AusweisApp2 you get previews of functions that flow in a similar way or in a subsequent version of the product AusweisApp2.

Unfortunately, not all mobile devices have the requirements for mobile ID, so we maintain an overview of supported devices for you on the following page: https://www.ausweisapp.bund.de/mobile-geraete/

This list is not exhaustive. Please let us know if your device works! Please inform us about the exact device information (device type, firmware version). You can also comfortably do this via the "Report an error" function in the app or via the rating function.

About the app:

Online ID function
More security in online business transactions and online administrative procedures! With the online identification function of the identity card and the electronic residence permit, you can identify yourself easily and securely on the Internet.

Identification via NFC
Simply use your online ID function by placing your ID card behind your device.

ID via Bluetooth
Alternatively, use your online ID function in conjunction with your device and a Bluetooth card reader.

Activation of the PIN
After receiving your ID card, change the transport PIN to a personal PIN using the AusweisApp2's PIN modification feature.

Change of PIN
Change your personal PIN at any time.

Check what data is stored on your ID card.
