This is a collection of stories, records and essays, set in a wide time frame from the time of the rule of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy and the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, to the post-war and later socialist Yugoslavia. Using historical facts, memories of his ancestors and personal observations, the author evokes the socio-economic and political circumstances and living standards of the 1970s and 1980s.
Heroes are ordinary people, with all their virtues and flaws, whose behavior is often dictated by social circumstances and circumstances, exactly as we encounter them in everyday life.
These are stories about life, about some people and their characters, and the life and experiences of the author in advanced age, downhill, with all the problems of old age and some bright moments.
The book also deals with some moral issues, dilemmas and social problems, the attitude towards the state and wars, politics and politicians, the attitude towards the elderly, truth and manipulation in society, as well as various other, mostly current topics.
