You can't really know or get the most out of anywhere until you get to know its community, and that's what the Neighborly app is here to help you with - it's free to download and doesn't have any annoying adverts on it.

When you share location, it's only accessed one time and then stored and displayed on Neighborly's interactive map as a random point within 100 metres of your actual location, and only to those Neighborly members in your local area - which is about an 8km radius. You can remove or change your location at any time you wish.

Additionally you now have the ability to block anyone in your neighbourhood who you don't feel comfortable with, without them knowing you've blocked them - to them it's as if you don't have the app or a Neighborly profile.

We have developed these safeguards in response to some privacy concerns of a very small number of some of Neighborly's early users, but if anyone has any other suggestions we'd love to hear them, since the privacy and safety of our community is our top priority.
