It only loads the audio stream, without including other metadata. Thus, it can also be used on slower networks.

There are no pop-up windows or other hassle. No login. No registration. Just select the channel and turn up the volume! There is no purchase or payment in the app. It's completely free.

DAB radio: All the well-known nationwide channels you know from your DAB radio are included, including Radio Norway, Radio 1, P4 The Sound of Norway, Radio Rock, P8 Pop, NRJ Energy, Vinyl, Norwegian Pop, Top 40, P5 , Hug, BIG, Bandit to name a few. NRK P1, P2, P3, mP3, P13 and all local broadcasts are of course included, together with the special channels NRK Sport, Always news, Jazz, Classical, Sápmi radio, Super, Untouched, + many more.

Local radio: Now you can hear your local radio wherever you are. Choose from a long list of local radios from all over Norway.

Newspaper app with RSS reader: Stay up to date with the latest news from online newspapers.

The live broadcast can be paused and resumed from where it was paused, or you can skip back to live streaming in real time.

Separate button to turn OFF (Other internet radios continue to stream the files in the background even if you pause or stop the sound). Nice if you want to limit computer use.

The app is a simple browser. When you listen to the radio, you basically visit the radio channel's own official URL (and are counted and registered as a listener) in the same way as when you use a regular browser on your computer or an internet radio, and with the same sound quality.

NB:
This app is designed completely without advanced features on purpose, to be as small and efficient as possible (about 3MB!). I hope this is included in the assessment when commenting. Thank you very much.

The app does not have chromecast, facebook sharing or other sharing functions. Radio and podcasts only. It does not require permission to see your location, your contacts, access to your social media account, etc. as the others do.

Permits:
Internet access for radio feeds and podcast streaming.
Prevent the phone from sleeping so that the music does not stop when the screen saver is on.
Storage, to remember your favorite channels.
