Plot of Romeo and Juliet

It is a tragedy by William Shakespeare that was published in 1597. Undoubtedly, one of the stories that over time has become a fundamental part of Western literature. The novel tells the story of two young people from different families who fall madly in love and whose families are strongly opposed. Despite the family's refusal, the young couple decides to marry illegally and live together. Finally, the pressure exerted by the family leads the couple to decide to commit suicide in the face of the possibility of living apart.
