As for the Shafi’is, they said that the time for Eid prayer begins from the time of the beginning of the sun’s rise until its demise; This is a reason prayer that does not take into account the times when it is disliked, and the evidence of the Shafi’is for their saying is what was reported from the Messenger - peace be upon him - that he said: (The first thing we begin from this day is to pray), and the evidence is that the day begins with dawn and this is the time to perform Fajr prayer, after sunset, the time for noon prayer

The majority of jurists stated that it is customary to perform the Eid prayer at this time; So what is known among the ummah must be followed, just as there must be a text indicating the time of the Eid prayer if it has a time before sunrise, just as the Prophet - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - forbade praying when the sun rises; The Messenger of God - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - said: (If the sunblock has risen, delay the prayer until it rises, and if the sunblock has set, delay the prayer until it rises).
