ADAC Fahrrad-Versicherung Click & Go - the bike theft insurance that you can easily activate with one click - according to your needs! You only pay for the insurance if you have activated the protection in the app. For the time being only valid in the greater Munich and Berlin area. Maximum insurance period in one go: 24 hours.
Your bike is comprehensively protected against theft, robbery and consequential damage. Bicycle accessories and firmly attached bicycle items are also protected.

And this is how the app works:
To be able to use the insurance cover, download the app from the Google Play Store.

1. In order to activate the insurance cover, we need the following data from you in the app:
• Personal data so that we know who you are.
• Bicycle data e.g. purchase price, year of purchase and manufacturer. Optionally, you can also store the frame number and a picture of your bike that you want to insure with the app. In the event of a claim, this data will also help you to report the theft to the police
• Your payment details

2. Activation of insurance cover on the go - quickly and easily
Are you on your way to the beer garden and want to protect your bike while you are visiting the beer garden? To activate the protection, all you have to do is take a photo of your locked bike from the app.

3. You can then activate your bike protection by clicking on the open lock symbol. The lock symbol is closed when protection is activated.

4. By clicking on "End protection" you deactivate the protection and see immediately what the insurance protection has cost you during this period. We collect the money from your credit card that you have stored in the app.

5. Report damage:
Are you coming back to the place where you locked your bike and your bike is no longer there? If you click on "Yes, my bike was stolen", you can report the damage to us directly.
