Mtandao

Mtandao records a network's signal levels together with GPS Coordinates. These can be shared via E-mail in a standard format.

What it does
Mtandao logs the signal strengths, the location data as well as the subscriber information in a database located in the local storage of the phone. It also stores every recording instance together in the database. This data can then be shared through email as an encrypted file.

How it does it
It achieves this by querying the phone's signal levels at predetermined intervals. The user can choose to log data minimum every 1 second.
After the data is shared, the internal database is cleared to keep the app's storage usage low. The database data limit has also been set to 25,000 rows (equivalent to max of 7 hours of recording). This has been done to ensure that the data will be small enough to share over email.
If you're phone is a twin sim phone, it will log data for both carriers. However, a single carrier can still be sent if the user toggles the option in the settings section.

How to use it
The app has 2 modes.
Simple Mode
- Press Record Button to log data
- Press Stop Button to stop logging data
- Share Data Via e-mail

Optimization Mode
- Select a comment
- Continue as in Simple Mode
