It started around eighties, taking forward the leader Pedro dos Santos Ambrose in 1985, Peter Ambrose and some residents founded the North Bom Sucesso Wing Association. In 1987 he founded the great fair free Community now the largest shopping center open Maranhao on Sunday. In 1998 he founded the Community Radio Maranhão South 87.9 Invented name allusive the Movement's campaign for creation of the state of Southern Maranhão. And in 2007 the South Maranhão Radio was granted and authorized, and currently plays a big role in the community town of Imperatriz.

The goal of the North Bom Sucesso Wing Association is to be through SOUTH MARANHÃO RADIO FM a promotion tool of economic, cultural and artistic development of the region, leading to news and information that citizens can contribute to local development. So that the main objective is achieved is necessary for community participation in actions generated by radio.
