With the demographic explosion that our country is experiencing and the lack of heavy industries to fight unemployment. The Société d'Investissement et Développement des Villes Futuristes du Cameroun (SID) has decided to embark on a gigantic project to build hydroelectric dams of 11,000 Megawatts (first phase), electricity, gas and solar power plants. .

First, the hydroelectric dam: When built, the two and a half kilometers long and 200 meters high dam will be the largest dam in Africa. Ethiopia holds this record so far. The artificial lake will retain more than 1000 billion cubic meters of water with three gigantic turbines that will allow the dam to produce 11,000 megawatts (first phase) of electricity, the largest electricity production on the continent. A site that will host more than 30,000 workers from all over the world; This project is a great challenge for Cameroon and for all of Africa, a new image of Cameroon. Every hour more than 1000 cubic meters of concrete will be consumed. Hence the construction of a 100% Cameroonian "SID CEMENT" cement factory, which is why SID Cameroon SA intends to encourage Cameroonians to invest massively in all of its development projects in Cameroon more than foreigners. . The cement plant of SID Cameroun S.A intends to produce more than one million tonnes of cement by the end of 2022 and to conquer 50% of the local cement market. The announcement of the construction of a large cement factory owned by Cameroonians will reduce the list of competitors dominated by foreign cement factories. This dam will be able to supply more than 40 million households, heavy industries, TGV (High Speed ​​Train), major airports, ports, highways, throughout the territory of Cameroon and especially at lower cost; which will generate profits for SID Cameroun S.A and dividends for Cameroonian shareholders.
