He was known to have extensive knowledge in the sciences and was well informed in hadith, interpretation and history, and wrote many books, including The Beginning and the End in History, and the Book of Interpretation of the Great Qur’an, which is considered one of the best exegesis books in the Qur’an.

Sheikh Imam Ibn Katheer is considered one of the great scholars of interpretation in Islamic history, and he is the scholar, the hafiz, the modernist, the interpreter, the jurist, the skilled jurist in the sciences of religion. Among the most famous books on the subject of exegesis with the maxim or the interpretation of the Qur’an with the Qur’an.
