From archaeologists with an unhealthy obsession for the supernatural to secretive exorcists hailing from distant lands, the customers that set foot inside the Shop are never dull – and neither is the life of the person in charge of keeping them supplied with everything they need to carry out their eccentric duties. In The Dark Market you play as that person – or rather, as a succession of people, each trying to last just a little longer before having to inevitably retire; the tales your customers have to tell are not for the faint of heart… or the weak of mind. Study, learn, craft and increase your knowledge (and fortune!) as you receive commissions from outlandish individuals, each with stories more unnerving than the last, and requests to match. No matter how hard you try, however, the madness will slowly set in… but do not despair, dear friend.
