Trimbakeshwar Temple is an ancient Hindu temple in the town of Trimbak, in the Trimbakeshwar tehsil in the Nashik District of Maharashtra, India. Trimbakeshwar is abode of one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. The extraordinary feature of the Jyotirlinga located here is the Linga in the temple is in the form of a three faced embodying Tridev, Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva. The temple has three lingams (an iconic form of Shiv) representing Shiv, Vishnu and Brahma. The temple is located between three hills namely Brahmagiri, Nilagiri and Kalagiri.
The origin of the sacred Godavari river is near Trimbak. The Lingam is covered by a jeweled crown which is placed over the Gold Mask of Tridev (Brahma, Vishnu & Mahesh). The crown consists of diamonds, emeralds, and many precious stones.
