Pool the Shell

The pool is located at the Binnenschelde, centrally located between the bathing beach on one side and the surf beach on the other side. The pool shell is designed with a so-called four-bath concept. Beneath the shell-like roof is a competition pool of 25 x 15 meters, equipped with a 1 and a 3 meter board, a teaching pool of 10 x 15 meters and a recreational pool with paddling totaling 325 m2.
 
The recreation pool is equipped with various recreational play elements including a super water slide, family slide, rapids, turbo shower, jett streams, Jacuzzis and steam rooms. From the leisure pool is a uitzwembad of 10 x 20 meter, a paddling pool, a sunbathing area with some toys away.

At the entrance you will find our in jungle-style catering facility 'Pirate'. The coffee is ready for you.

The pool Melanen

Melanen the pool is a heated outdoor pool where everyone can enjoy delicious. There are six lanes of 25 meters long where every morning from 10.00h to 12.00h undisturbed jobs can swim. For the high and low diving board we have a separate diving pool of four meters deep.

Besides the competition pool we have a large leisure pool. It starts at 40 cm shallow and slopes gently down to 140 cm. This bath is ideal for children who are still practicing swimming or for swimmers who prefer occasionally want to stand with the feet on the ground. The children have their own island with two slides.

For toddlers and preschoolers, we have a separate toddlers. The location is quiet on a private part of the lawn. Early in the morning, you will find plenty of sun. Unique to the pool Melanen is its location right in the woods. The solstice is plenty of space for sunbathing or just nice to be sporty.

Our changing rooms, lockers, hot showers, toilets, disabled toilet / shower, hospitality, catering terrace inside, coffee table, ping pong table and TV corner, located within our main building. For you and our security we have inside our main building on CCTV. For both cyclists and cars, there are plenty of parking spaces within a 2-minute walk from the pool. A portion of the bicycle is equipped with video surveillance.
