Surat Al-Mulk is known as the one who saves from the torment of the grave and prevents it, and it is one of the Meccan surahs, and it is the first surah of Juz Tabarak, the twenty-ninth part. On the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud - may God be pleased with him - that he said: ((Whoever recites blessed is the one in whose hand is the king. Every night, God prevented him from the torment of the grave, and we used to call it al-Mana’ah in the time of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, because it prevents its owner from evil and saves him from torment and pain in the grave and on the Day of Resurrection).

The Noble Qur’an is the great word of God, His straight path, and its upright constitution, and Surat al-Mulk is one of the surahs that were mentioned in the hadiths of the Messenger - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him- because of its great merit, and for the reader of the Noble Qur’an in general, and this surah in particular has a great reward and reward.

The virtue of reciting Surah Al-Mulk before bed

Reciting Surah Al-Mulk has many virtues that bring good to the Muslim, as follows:

1) It prevents the torment of the grave and saves the one who keeps reciting it at night before he sleeps.
2) Argue on behalf of its owner on the Day of Resurrection in order to enter him into the gardens of bliss, and to distance him from the torment of Hell.
3) It causes good deeds and rewards for its owner, so whoever keeps reading it daily before sleeping gets a lot of good deeds and reward, for every letter of the Qur’an is a good deed, and the good deed is rewarded ten times as much and God multiplies for whomever He wills, as a Muslim gets a lot of reward and good deeds if he persists in it.
4) Intercede for its owner so that he will be forgiven on the Day of Resurrection.
