Alpha Pay Online

Through Alpha Pay Online application the Alpha Bank cardholders will be able to authenticate the e-commerce purchases using biometric capabilities or other security key available at device level. For security reasons, in order to validate his identity through Alpha Pay Online application the cardholders can register using the last 6 digits of the card number and the mobile phone updated in relation with the Bank. In order to have a successful Registration, a SMS will be sent to the cardholder’s phone number to validate the registration process.

When an ecommerce transaction is made, the cardholder will receive through Alpha Pay Online a Push Notification to inform about the e-commerce transaction that needs to be authorized. The customer will tap on push notification which will redirect to the screen with transaction details where the cardholder have the option to cancel the transaction with a click on “ CANCEL” button or will authenticate the transaction with a click on “ CONFIRM” button.
Even though the client doesn`t have active the Push notification /will not click on Push Notification and will go directly to the Alpha Pay Online icon he will be directed to the screen with transaction details where he can cancel the transaction with a click on “ CANCEL” button or authenticate the transaction with a click on “ CONFIRM” button.
