Persita was officially born in Tangerang Regency on April 19, 1940, spearheaded by Alm. M.E. Umran But Persita was officially established on September 15, 1945. Persita was accepted and ratified by PSSI on September 9, 1953. The first Persita pride costume in the past was red with white pants and white socks. During the leadership of H. Urip Hermansyah, SH this costume was replaced with purple. After deliberations with the management, the "Pendekar Cisadane" anniversary is celebrated every September 9 with the aim of recalling the history of the birth of Persita. At that time representatives from Persita handed over the Persita flag symbol.
